The Toronto Patriots have made an abundance of roster moves over the past couple of weeks.

Nick Ursitti, Connor Beck, and captain Michael Siddall were sent to the Toronto Jr. Canadiens on the Jan. 10 in exchange for forwards Eric Eremita and Lee Lapid.

The club also signed free agent forwards Rudi Ying, and Steven Mounouchos, with all of this occurring since Dec. 29.

Eremita, 18, hails from Maple, Ont., has eight goals and 15 points in 34 career Ontario Junior Hockey League contests, while Lapid, 18, is a Thornhill native, and has counted for 15 points in 28 games.

Both Lapid and Eremita are in their rookie seasons, and have made all their appearances to date with the Jr. Canadiens.

Ying, 17, is from Beijing, China, and has 11 goals and 14 points in 10 games with Chinese National Under-18 Team. Previously, he has played prep school hockey in Connecticut and Junior A hockey in Boston with the Junior Bruins.

Mounouchos, 18, is an alumnus of the Toronto Marlboros midgets, and is an eighth-round draft pick of the Toronto Predators of the Greater Metro Hockey Junior ‘A’ League.

Ursitti was a member of the Pats last two Buckland Cup championship teams, while Beck joined the squad in the off-season before last year’s championship. Siddall was acquired this past off-season from the Trenton Golden Hawks in exchange for Mitch Emerson.
